Welcome to InfraredCaptures

digital art by Mike Ray

It’s been a few years since I converted my cameras for near‑infrared photography, and the experience has been deeply rewarding. After experimenting with classic black‑and‑white and false‑color infrared styles, I quickly learned how to fine‑tune my images and strike a balance between monochrome and color. The process relies heavily on post‑processing software, but the creative possibilities make it worthwhile. InfraredCaptures is an evolving collection of my digital infrared work, reflecting that ongoing exploration.
