It's been a few years since converting my Nikon D300 so I could shoot near-infrared photography and I have certainly enjoyed the experience.  Having created the typical Black & Whites and False Color infrareds, I quickly learned how to tweak my photographs and find a balance between B&W and color.  Of course

this involves the use of software programs but I find the result rewarding.  InfraredCaptures is an ever changing collection of my digital IR photography. 

                               Group descriptions

• abandoned:  old buildings and images that call to mind a feeling of abandonment
• at waters edge:  waterfalls, streams and perhaps splashing rain
• cultural:  Fine Art with some leaning towards absurd
